Ancient Beehives Discovered

Jerusalem; Ancient Honey Farms Found

I’ve been self diagnosed as a honey addict. My grandfather raised bees and so I’m assuming it’s in my blood to have this strange fascination. Consequently, my interest was highly sparked today after coming across an article on a recent discovery of ancient beehives. I would of loved being back in ancient Jerusalem, spending my days with the bees and enjoying the fruits of labor, plus – you’re making a product that most everyone loves and desires, what more could you want for?

Audio Tape of Sen. Craigs Arrest

Craig Audiotape Shocks Nation

An audio tape taken in the minutes following the sexual insinuation between airport bathroom stalls and Sen. Craig and a police officer has been released. The quotes from the tape aren’t as juicy as I had hoped that they would be. Basically we get Craig continuously denying what supposedly had just happened and the officer giving him grief about his leadership qualities. I wonder if he knew the convo was being recorded. To me, it seems obvious that if he knew, his statements would have been dramatically guarded. He’s a smart man, he knew the consequences and why in the world would he admit to anything on tape?

On a similar note, is it unlawful to not notify a person in questioning that they are being recorded? I’m sure you’d get a lot more out of the interrogation if they thought it was all ears and no tape.

Human Tetris

Japanese TV Offers Human Tetris

The Japanese are known for their extreme infatuation with cutsie animal characters and bright colors and I love them for it. But now I am even more interested with the distractions of this unique culture. They have Human Tetris! Enough said, check it out.

Mike Huckabee, Our Only Hope

Mike Huckabee is the Only Decent GOP Candidate

I’ve been saying it since this whole thing began back in January and now even Obama agrees with me! Mike Huckabee is the ONLY Republican candidate worthy of the Presidential title. Our whole “conservative” GOP is a joke this election, minus one. Huckabee is a decent, honest, level headed man with a big check into reality, soemthing all others pale in comparison to. His lack of finances make him the automatic underdog, but they also make him more in touch with the real America! He’s got my vote, do you homework and i’m sure he’ll grab yours as well.

What Makes Kids Happy?

Parents, Your Kids Want You!

New polls have been blowing parents away with their results. More than money, friends, or even sex, kids agree that spending time with their parents is what makes them happiest! I’m assuming this depends on the quality of time spent, preferably without arguing or yelling involved. So adults – cook up something simple and sit down with your children tonight and contribute a bit to their happiness.

Black Hawk Down Today

14 Soldiers Killed in Crash in Baghdad Wednesday

One of two helicopters went down due to a supposed mechanical problem Wednesday during the early morning. “The U.S. military relies heavily on helicopters to avoid the threat of ambushes and roadside bombs — the deadliest weapon in the militants’ arsenal — and dozens have crashed in accidents or been shot down.” -FOX

Who Is George Soros?

George Soros is one of the Strangest Men Ever

Reading up on the life of George Soros, I’ve come to the personal conclusion that this guy is just plain strange at the core, and he’s made money off of it. A lot of money! This man has around $7 billion to blow on things such as his “Project on Death,” undermining the British government and proclaiming his being the new Messiah. These all seem like they have the crazy stamp right on top of the box, but I guess people do tend to follow the money. Soros is by no means alone in his endeavors. He appeals to the rebels of authority and those who enjoy siding opposite of the norm (or their better judgement.) Watch out for his name in the papers, chances are he’ll be planning to keep the pot stirred one way or another.

Homosexuality in Our Children’s Schools

School Refuses Recognition of Gay and Lesbian History Month

A Philadelphia School district has decided to take the simple route when it comes to labeling their calenders from now on. After incorporating such celebrations as Black History Month and Ramadan, Gay and Lesbian History Month just did not fly with the parents of school children. And it really shouldn’t. At what point can we just say that enough is enough! Our youngsters do not need to be educated about the act of gay sex, boys who want to be girls or anything of the sort! They’re kids! Let them worry about making the baseball team or if they’ve got their book report done before we load such adult content into their minds! I side with the parents on this one.

New Science on Preventing Heart Attacks and Cholesterol

The truth is always so interesting and this is no exception. Cholesterol has very little to do with your blood pressure or your risk of having a heart attack. The truth is that Statin Drugs, the perscription given to combat high LDL levels actually do more harm than good to your body. If for some reason, you’re considering taking these serious statins, do yourself so good and research the matter. Before you accept putting any chemical into your body, you should know the complete long term side effects as they could be very dangerous. There are alternatives to statins and believe it or not, your doctor is not always right.
